Distribution of events per type

This documentation page of the LoriotPro Software concerns the WEB interface of the product.

In addition to its graphical interface in Windows™, the LoriotPro software integrates an HTTP server and thus offers a multi-user GUI in a WEB interface. The data collected by the software in SNMP or by other means are accessible via this interface. Numerous charts, histograms, tables, assist you and give you information of states and of performance on the infrastructure monitored

Events are messages of information and format owners to alert LoriotPro.
They are generated by:

• LoriotPro internal processes, namely the polling process, the network discovery process and Plug-in. The filters on snmp Trap and Syslog can also generate events. In the Extended Edition of LoriotPro LUA scripts can generate events.
• other SNMP Manager LoriotPro action as filters on events, SNMP Trap or Syslog messages.

Events are used to alert the network administrator, and new systems and / or anomalies occurring in its infrastructure. Each event is identified by a unique number linked to the description of the anomaly it relates.
The chart below provides a pie chart of Events received according to their occurrences.
