This handbook is intended for network and system administrators who already have a good knowledge of administration concepts and terms. An introduction to these concepts is made in the chapter “Introduction to network and system administration” but it cannot be consider as exhaustive on the subject.
Using this product without any understanding of network management and security could cause severe damage to the information system operation.
Conventions used in this guide
This guide uses a special format to show the path to a specific menu option. Rather that specifying all menu titles, we will use the greater than sign '>' and italics.
